You are bidding on a 1982 Georgia-Clemson football program from a game played at Sanford Stadium. Georgia. It was the teams' season-opener, Clemson the defending national champion. Georgia beat Clemson, 13-7, the Tigers' only loss (and one tie) in a season that saw them finish No. 8 in the final Associated Press poll. The Bulldogs played without the services of running back Herschel Walker, who injured his thumb in August. Georgia won all of its regular season games and went into the Sugar Bowl undefeated, where it lost to Penn State. The Bulldogs finished No. 4 in the final AP poll, and Walker won the Heisman Trophy.
