THIS LISTING IS FOR...this wonderful, antique, celluloid, ROLY POLY, Child on football.  I believe this piece dates to between 1856 and 1874.  Celluloid was invented in 1856 and the football was round until 1874 when it was changed to a watermelon shape.  Really nice condition with just a tiny paint chip on the top of his hat and a couple of dents on the back of the ball.  It is weighted and measures approx. 5.25 inches tall.
