Up for sale is a very pretty antique sugar and creamer set featuring transferware images of roses. This set is of the style that was often made in Germany but it is unmarked. The sugar bowl stands 3 1/2" tall with its lid and the creamer is about 4" tall. Counting its handles, the sugar bowl is about 5" wide while the creamer is about 5 1/2."
The pieces are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. There is slight loss of the transfer imagery as is usually the case with sets like this. There is a stain on the interior of the creamer. The sugar bowl interior looks dark in the photos but it is not and it is not stained.
This set would look great with a cottage chic design motif. Roses and the colors pink and green are a very popular and charming combination. This set is ready to compliment your decor!
