Description

This darling little creamer has an ornate shape with the raised embellishments around the top and bottom and down the handle.  The painted  images on all sides are even more special than that though!  They are part of the Baby Bunting children's dishes that have been around since Victorian times. On this piece Baby Bunting and a friend is motoring about in their toy car with a blooming fruit tree on the side of the road.  The other sides have the little girl in her apron and bonnet and a cat and rooster which is part of those stories!  So special.  I would use this for a spring wildflower bouquet or as part of Christmas holiday decor - it covers both seasons well!
I believe, based on my online research, that this creamer was produced sometime between 1909 and 1916 as indicated by the mark on the bottom. The bottom stamp shows three crowns in the center encircled by "Three Crown China Germany" in green.
This piece is In very good condition considering it's age.  There is one small chip on the outside of the top rim near the handle that I did not discover until handling it quite awhile.  There are no cracks or crazing. The paintings are in incredible shape with only a few light scratches. There are just a few spots of discoloration on the side that has the cat and rooster images.
