Speaker Stand. Unlike speakers designed for Gen 1 PLAY 5 and many "universal" speakers, these speakers are custom designed for SONOS PLAY 5
and SONOS
FIVE
and built for function and aesthetics. Wire channel hides
FIVE
cord and allows it to come out at a full range of heights. Completely assembled and ready for use.
This listing is for a white Speaker Stand. Other options are Oak (search for 172107845360 on eBay), Dark Walnut (122055785226), Black (174232221363). Difficult to find at brick-and-mortar stores. Note: because these stands are not mass-produced, any large order may run various options temporarily out of stock from time to time
Custom designed & made in U.S.A. for SONOS PLAY 5 (Gen 2 and Gen 3) and SONSOS FIVE: top plate accommodates both FIVE orientations, horizontal or vertical; built-in ridge behind speaker to backstop the FIVE; arch in the front to match the FIVE arch, hiding all unsightly edges and corners. (Note: speakers designed for Gen 1 PLAY 5 and many "universal" speakers do NOT fit the current generations well, especially those with extra features, e.g. ridges/backstops built for previous generations will get in the way of the FIVE so the new speaker cannot be seated flat or properly)
Built for function, durability and aesthetics. Material being wood does not impact sound like other metal stands. Optimal height (29"), minimalist top plate (8" x 6") and footprint (12" x 8.5"). Mitered joints, rounded corners, tapered edges--all quality and presentation to match your fine furniture
Wire channel at the back of the stand allows FIVE cord and plug to easily snake in and conceal and come out for the power outlet at whatever height your wall outlet may be
. Ballast (not provided with the product) may also be placed inside the channel if desired
Fully assembled and ready for use from opening the box. Removable pads (for wood floors)

- This stand may be used with other speakers as long as your speaker can sit securely on the 8" x 6" top plate. Just note that the stand is built for Sonos Play 5
and Sonos Five
, meaning that with other speakers there may be spare space if your speaker is not covering the whole top plate area.
