BLUE HO SLOT CAR CONTROLLER BY DS 120/90/60 OHM WITH BOOTED ALLIGATOR CLIPS

Description

This adult sized HO slot car controller by DS (specializing in Electronic Racing Products) has a 120 ohm resistor board giving your car that gentle power band required with the new Tomy Mega G+ cars.  The new Tomy Mega G+ cars call for a 120 ohm resistor controller but the ones that come with the Mega G+ sets are child sized and of minimal quality.  This high resistance controller give excellent control for the casual t-jet user or serious t-jet racer especially on technical (short twisty) layouts.  This controller can be used with the JG Comfort Grip handle I have for sale on Ebay as well.  Controller comes with three lead wires with booted alligator clips.   The black and white wires can be spliced into any type of two wire set up whether home set use or commercial track.  The third (red) wire can be used to provide electric braking on tracks so wired.  This controller has a BLUE plastic handle.  See my other listings for green, orange and yellow handled DS 120 ohm controllers and variable resistance 120 ohm controllers (60-90-120 ohm).

Century controller?  This DS controller uses a modern resistor board instead of a 1960’s single wire wrapped ceramic resistor.  The advantage is simple, the DS is super smooth.  The DS also comes with a longer heavier gauge connector wire for greater reliability and ease of use.  See my listings for a complete offering of single range and multiple range controllers.  Also, unlike other modern transistor board controllers, the DS is NOT polarity sensitive.  It can be used on tracks wired positively OR negatively. While other controllers come with a 24 inch lead wire, DS controllers have a full 3 foot long lead wire.
