BLUE HO SLOT CAR CONTROLLER DS 55/45/35 OHM WITH BOOTED ALLIGATOR CLIPS

Description

This adult sized HO slot car controller by DS (specializing in Electronic Racing Products) has a 55 ohm resistor board, additional electronics in the handle and a switch that allows the user to toggle between 55 ohm, 45 ohm and 35 ohm resistances.  This range of resistances allows the user to find a proper range of control for stock Tyco 440X2, Tomy AFX Turbos, Super G+, Mega G, Wizzard Storms and Storm Extremes as well as other magnet cars appropriate to this range of resistance.  The 35 ohm range would be useful for lightly modified HO cars as well.  Also suitable for most 1/32 analog sets.  This is NOT recommended for Mega G+ or original Aurora T-jets which require a higher resistance for a full range of control. (See my listing for 60-90-120 ohm DS controllers)    This controller can be used with the JG Comfort Grip handle I have for sale on Ebay as well.  Controller comes with THREE BOOTED ALLIGATOR CLIPS - RED/WHITE AND BLACK ready to use on a track wired for brakes.  White and black go to power, red goes to brakes.

Century controller?  This DS controller uses a modern resistor board instead of a 1960’s single wire wrapped ceramic resistor.  The advantage is simple, the DS is super smooth.  The DS also comes with a longer heavier gauge connector wire for greater reliability and ease of use.  See my listings for a complete offering of single range and multiple range controllers.  Also, unlike other modern transistor board controllers, the DS is NOT polarity sensitive.  It can be used on tracks wired positively OR negatively. While other controllers come with a 24 inch lead wire, DS controllers have a full 3 foot long lead wire.
