This survival axe takes a big bite with every swing with a European-style head with 4-inch blade and 4.5-inch cutting edge. Great for survivalists, preppers, campers, and outdoorsmen, this compact tactical axe carries well and straps to your pack for long hikes and survivalist camping trips. During extensive field-tests in the Australian outbacks, this survival axe was used to chop kindling, clear roads and trails, build blinds, and chop down a fair-sized tree. You can use this as a throwing axe, but it is not North American Throwing Federation (NATF) legal.
This tactical axe has a drop-forged 1055 carbon steel head that's both lightweight and sturdy. The straight-grained American hickory handle gives you the grip you need for any job.
