MILITARY SURPLUS GP SMALL TENT, INCLUDES POLES AND COVER

Description

Military Surplus GP Small Canvas Tent. Used - reconditioned in good condition.  NSN: 8340-00-753-6570. This GP Small canvas tent has been professionally reconditioned with new insect screens, wood toggles for securing doors, and new stove jack vinyl.  The reconditioning also patched any damaged tent canvas. This tent has a 10' 3" peak height, and 5' 0 " sidewall height. It has two door openings that are 6' 8 " each and has insect screens in excellent condition.  All (4) zippers work.  No holes or tears anywhere on the tent. This tent is clean; no dirt or mud.  Includes all wood poles, stakes, guy lines, small piece of extra canvas for repairs and a protective canvas cover.
This tent is in good condition.  A couple of exceptions: one sidewall wood pole I would classify as fair condition. Looks like it was painted at one time and has some splintering but it is fully functional.  The canvas protective cover is in fair condition with a few small tears, paint stains and has faded labeling "C Co".  It is also not the correct cover for a GP Small.   It is sized for a slightly smaller tent: M-1950, Artic Tent, but it is functional for this tent.  Also the last owner gave me the wrong poles for the two door openings and I have added "extensions" to make the poles the proper height (see picture).
I have been very happy with this tent but I don't use it very much anymore.
This tent DOES NOT come with a cold weather liner or vestibule.
