    Very old half morocco on possibly contemporary marbled boards,
    rubbed but sound. all edges red, top edge dusty.
    An interesting volume.
    With the armorial bookplate of Robert Washington
    Oates and later from the library of Peter Seaby,
    with his bookplate. The only London edition of Sardi's 1579 work. Lipsius p. 348. The first London
    edition of Labbe's 1664 work first published in Paris.
