Description

It is genuine green leather strap for FAL or Garand Beretta M59 rifle similar at used by Argentine troops in the Falklands War.
It consists of two parts, a longer one with a hook and a shorter one with a hook and loop.
When attached to the rifle, the measurement is approximately 105 centimeters long.
The straps are made with Argentine cow leather. Its green color is distinctive of the individual equipment of the Argentine Army between 1970 and 1985.
It is a copy of the strap of the US Army Model 1907, used in Garand M1. It has 2 components: a long strap with an upper hook at one end and the other free with lower keeper and short strap with one end with a "D" ring and a lower hook at the other end f- bra or upper keeper on the front of the long portion.
Its condition is what can be seen in the photos. They are over 40 years old
.
They are rare pieces because they were not many in which the leather was dyed green and correspond to the Decades of 70/80 in which the combat harness was of that color.
The last  4 photos shows the different models that are used in the rifles, being the one offered here that is in fifth
place in said image.
